Trommedans fra Grønland

Elisabeth Petrussen Rosing is from Greenland. She is originally from Kangaamiut, but now lives and works in Kangerlussuaq. She is a drum dancer and a culture keeper, and teaches children drum dancing and masked dancing. To the younger generation, she is a storyteller.

She considers children the future for whom she keeps culture, but is also keen to teach adults. In her workshop she will create a drum dance and make a drum song using the raven, the eagle, weather, nature, feelings, stormy and beautiful weather, and the like. Her dance and song is infused with the world she lives in.
